When Adobe Premiere Elements detects default display drivers, it returns the following error message:
'We have detected generic Microsoft’s display driver on this machine. To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver.'
Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable display modules. Question asked by citybuild122 on Jul 25. I would assume that windows is removing / replacing your drivers via windows update so you would have to stop it doing that, or that your system has file corruption of some kind. CIM will not install the CCC or driver; Ryzen 5 2600x.
Download and install the correct display driver for your card from the manufacturer’s website. For example, if you have an Nvidia video card, download the display driver for your card from the Nvidia website.
This message appears when the video adapters on your computer use the default (generic) display drivers supplied by Windows (Vista and later). The default drivers are good enough for display. However, for Adobe Premiere Elements to use the full functionality of your video adapter for editing, install the manufacturer supplied driver for the card.
You can face issues with video playback if you do not have the correct display driver for the video adapter on your computer.

'We have detected an incompatible display driver. Premiere Elements will run in safe mode. To get a better and faster playback performance, update your display driver.'
Update the display driver from the card manufacturer’s website.
If updating to the latest driver doesn’t solve your problem, try updating to a previous version of the driver.
